Snowshoeing in Åre mountains

Snowshoeing in Sweden, Åre is a nice and easy activity. You don´t need any ski experience and get a fine mountain feeling on this tour.

The tour starts just north of Edsåsdalen 25 km from the Åre and after 15 minutes of easy walking we arrive at Renfjällets southern slope. We walk in the birch forest up to the tree grasses. Here we serve you lunch.

We start our kitchen and fixes hot lunch. After looking us up on the sunny side Renfjällets and pristine side with views towards Snasahögarna. We round the mountain finally comes up on the top 986 m. On the way home we are looking for new paths. Is not the weather great, we put on the tour but keeps us still in the same area but avoiding exposed bare mountain.
